Covered entities and business associates must comply with the new HIPAA Privacy Rule requirements regarding reproductive healthcare by Dec. 23, 2024. Earlier this summer, new anti-discrimination requirements for healthcare providers were implemented, as outlined in regulations under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
