3rd Annual Cancer Risk and Prevention Symposium

This symposium is designed to highlight the field of cancer prevention by bringing health care professionals and researchers together for a multidisciplinary discussion. Main conference topics will include access to cancer screenings in rural populations, universal genetic testing, multi-cancer detection tests, early onset colon cancer, and the psychosocial impact of hereditary cancer. Additional breakout topics for clinicians and researchers include hereditary endocrine cancer syndromes, hereditary pediatric cancer syndromes, whole-body MRI for screening, the latest research, and lightning poster presentations.

Symposium Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Review emerging topics and research in cancer risk and prevention.
Identify patients who are at increased risk for cancer related to a family history of cancer or genetic mutations.
Discuss opportunities to bridge health care providers and cancer researchers to progress the science of cancer risk and prevention.
