What Else is New With the Form I-9?

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued a new version of the Form I-9. Starting November 1, 2023, all employers must use the updated form. This webinar will review and discuss the I-9 and the new form now required. We will address the following:
• Designation of your authorized representative
• Having new hires complete Section 1: Employee Information and Attestation
• Inspection of the new hire's I-9 identification documents
• Review of the alternate procedure
• Completion of Section 2: Employer Review and Verification
• Completion of I-9 supplements, if applicable
• Proper storage of the I-9
In addition, this webinar will review I-9 best practices and discuss some advance I-9 issues and considerations.
