NDOI’s November CLE: Pharmacy Benefit Manager 101

Do you keep seeing the words Pharmacy Benefit Manager or PBM in the news? Want to learn more about what they are and how they are regulated in Nebraska?

On Wednesday, November 8, Nebraska Department of Insurance (NDOI) Counsel Cheryl Wolff will lead attendees in training about PBMs. This training will give a basic overview of PBM’s roles in the pharmacy supply chain and explain Nebraska’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager Licensing and Regulation Act. It will address topics including who must obtain a PBM license, penalties, and interaction with other state insurance laws.

Before becoming an attorney with the NDOI, Cheryl served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Governor’s Policy Research Office for 14 years. She graduated from University of Nebraska College of Law in 2004.
