Breastfeeding: Baby’s Natural Choice Conference

The 15th biennial Breastfeeding: Baby’s Natural Choice Conference will be held in-person on Aug. 30 from 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m at the La Vista Conference Center.

This conference will enable the learner to provide competent and successful support for breastfeeding through essential topics concerning common lactation issues such as mastitis, engorgement, and other common complications. We will focus on team-based approaches to bring awareness of the critical roles and responsibilities of the health care team when providing feeding support options while addressing behavioral health wellness and providing trauma-informed care to help overcome breastfeeding difficulties.

This accredited continuing education activity is designed for physicians (OB/GYN, pediatric, and family medicine), nurses, lactation consultants, registered dietitians, medical nutrition therapists, residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, breastfeeding advocates, social workers, and students.

Registration fee is $125 (Students are $50) and the registration deadline is August 21.
