State of Cancer Survivorship in Nebraska
Wednesday, June 15, 12p-1p CST

About the Webinar:
The number of cancer survivors living in the United States continues to increase each year because of the growth and aging of the population, as well as increases in survival due to changes in early-detection practices and treatment advances. As the number of cancer survivors increases, the role of primary care has become an important position in the management of cancer survivors.
As part of our work to understand this growing population of cancer survivors, the Nebraska Cancer Coalition collaborated with national and local partners to conduct a statewide survey of both cancer survivors and primary care providers. Please join us as we share survey findings and recommendations to address the needs of cancer survivors in Nebraska.

Learning Objectives
1. Review national and local cancer survivor experiences and needs.
2. Discuss the role of primary care providers in cancer survivorship
3. Identify opportunities to address the needs of cancer survivors in Nebraska.
