Heartland Pediatric GI, Hepatology and Nutrition Conference

Children's Hospital & Medical Center is pleased to announce the 2022 Heartland Pediatric GI, Hepatology and Nutrition Conference scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center GLOW Auditorium. This annual conference will feature a hybrid format this year with both in-person and virtual options for participation until social distancing room capacity is met. *Participation/viewing options are subject to change.

This event will feature thought-provoking discussions and case presentations by GI specialists and multidisciplinary care teams. The target audience includes physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, dietitians, social workers, medical assistants, and health care providers working with GI disorders in the pediatric population.

The conference will feature a Grand Rounds/keynote presentation Impact of Nutrition Status in Children by Dr. Mark Corkins, MD, CNSC, FASPEN, AGAF, FAAP from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Additional topics include:
• Assessment and Treatment of Childhood Obesity in a Multidisciplinary Weight Management Program
• Utilization of Nutritional Assessment in Admitted Patients
• Treatment and Management of Intestinal Failure

There is no fee to attend, but advanced registration is required.
